Supporting the Humanitarian and Social Services of Caritas Cubana

We Are Very Pleased to Be Able to Offer You This Unique Opportunity to Support Friends of Caritas Cubana

Photographer/Author Andrew Child has created Havana: Light Beyond Vision, a beautiful 136-page, 13" x 11" coffee table book of unique photographs he has taken over the course of several years of travel in Cuba.  Andrew has graciously agreed to donate a percentage of the $39.95 sale of every book to Friends of Caritas Cubana.

We couldn't be more grateful for Andrew's partnership and we hope this book is just what you, or someone on your gift list, is looking for.

Havana: Light Beyond Vision by Photographer Andrew Child

For the past three years, a Boston photographer who specializes in colorized infrared photography, has been traveling off of the beaten path in Havana, Cuba and the surrounding countryside capturing rare images that explore its many hidden gems.

Using this truly unique approach allows the photographer to reveal sunlight that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye. Over sixty of these vivid panoramic images have been compiled into a 136-page, 13” x 11” coffee table book, Havana: Light Beyond Vision.

With captions offering insight into the places, people, culture and history, from Hemingway’s seaside fishing village of Cojímar to Havana’s bustling avenidas, each image comes to life with a dreamlike quality that mirrors the mysteries of this island nation.
